2Checkout.com account and administration settings of the store

To register in 2Checkout.com, click here and follow the instructions.During the registration you must select what currency will be in your 2Checkout account.During the registration you will need to enter the url of your store. Write it down exactly. Changing the url happens after contact with support, and costs $ 19. For security reasons, 2CO will accept payment only from the domain, which works with your shop. All data must be correctly specified!

Settings in the 2CO account

Login and go to Account -> Site Management. Detailed description of all the settings you can see here.

  • Demo Setting - Select "Parameter" so you can test if the payment works correctly, by switching in the administration Enable DEMO trade.
  • Pricing Currency - What currency is in your account 2CO.This currency must be the same and in the administration of the store.
  • Company Name - The name of your company.
  • Soft Descriptor - Short description. You can specify the name of your store.
  • Site Title - The title of your store.
  • Site Description - Type a description of your shop.
  • Direct Return - This parameter is for return ing the customer, after he has paid the purchase to your store. Select "Iimmedately returned to my website"
  • Secret Word - Password which must be the same and in the administration of the store .
  • Approved URL и Pending URL. This url can see from the store administration Configure... -> Settings -> 2Checkout -> 2co Configuration Help. By clicking on the link shown the system will automatically copy the url to the clipboard (only works on IE).

Save the settings by pressing "Save Changes"

Settings in the administration of the store

Settings in the administration is elementary. Go to to Configure... -> Settings -> 2Checkout.

  • Vendor number - Write your Vendor number in 2CO.
  • Secret Word - Enter the same password you specified in your account at 2CO. With the check box Unmask can see it .
  • 2co account currency - select the same currency which is in your account 2CO.
  • Purchase Url - this is the url, to which the store will send your customers to make payment. If you delete, you can easily restore it with the link "?".
  • Enable DEMO trade - You can test your settings as you switch to DEMO TRADE. For real trade this parameter must be REAL TRADE .
